Specifications
- Frame to be constructed from solid kiln dried beechwood. Lumber to be dried to a final moisture content level between 6% – 8%.
- Front Legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1¾” x 1¾” tapering to 1” x 1” at bottom.
- Rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions are 1½” x 1½” and tapers at the bottom 1” x 1¼”.
- Front and rear legs and attached by a solid beech frame that is 2½” x 1¾”.
- Side stretchers run front to back leg and are dowelled and glued together.
- The chair frame and seat frame are connected together by dowels, corner blocks, bolts and glue.
- The seat shall be ½” thick solid core ply and applied to the solid beech frame. The seat is attached to the beech frame via screws. Foam and upholstery are applied after assembly.
- Plywood back is curved ½” thick beech that is glued & doweled to the back upright.
