Specifications

•  Frame to be constructed from solid kiln dried beech. Lumber to be dried to a final moisture content between 6% – 8%.
• Chair front legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1¾” x 1¾” tapering to 1” x 1” at bottom. Barstool front legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1¾” x 1¾” tapering to 1¼” x 1¼” at bottom.
• Chair rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions are 1¾” x 1½” and tapering to 1¼” x 1” at bottom. Barstool rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions at the top of leg to be 1½” x 1½” tapering to 1 ½” x 1¼” at bottom.
• All legs are to be connected by way of solid beech seat rails through mortise and tenon.
• Stretchers are dowelled and glued together.
• The assembled chair is connected together by dowels, corner blocks, bolts and glue, in order to strengthen the chair’s construction.
• The seat shall be ½” thick solid core ply with webbing and applied to the solid beech frame. The seat is attached to the beech frame via screws. High density CAL 117 FR foam and upholstery are applied after assembly.
• Barstool version also available in counter height (24” Seat height).
