Specifications

• Chair/Stool frame shall be constructed from solid kiln dried beech. Lumber to be dried to a final moisture content between 6% – 8%.
• Front Legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” tapering to 1” x 1” at bottom.
• Rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions are 1 ½” x 1 ½” and tapers at the top 1 ¼” x 1” and bottom 1” x 1 ¼”.
• Front and rear legs and attached by a solid beech frame that is 2 ½” x 1 ¾”.
• On Side/Arm and Stool, side stretchers run front to back leg and are dowelled and glued together. On Stool only, front and rear stretchers are also added for stability. Front stretcher has a metal footrest added, which can be finished in Black, Brass or Satin Aluminum finish.
• The wood frames and seat frame are connected together by dowels, corner blocks, bolts and glue.
• The seat are ½” thick solid core ply with webbing, applied to the solid beech frame. The seat is attached to the beech frame via screws. High density CAL 117 FR foam and upholstery are applied after assembly.
• Back is curved 1” thick beech that is glued & doweled to the back upright.
• All visible wood is finished in any standard ISA wood finish and sealed with a clear coat of urethane, low gloss finish. Custom finishes available upon request, at an upcharge.
• The Barstool is also available in Counter height (24” seat height).
