Specifications

• Stool frame shall be constructed from solid kiln dried beech wood. Lumber to be dried to a final moisture content level between 6% – 8%.
• Front legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1 ½” x 1 ½” tapering to 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” at bottom.
• Rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions are 1 ½” x 2” and tapers to 1 ¼” x 1 ½” at bottom.
• The seat rails are made from single stock lumber 2” x 3” and shaped to conform to the chair design and are glued dowelled and screwed together with corner blocks.
• The seat shall be ¾” thick solid core ply and applied to the solid hardwood frame. The seat is attached to the hardwood frame and screwed to the frame.
• The curved back is a single piece formed plywood screwed into the seat frame.
• A stretcher 1” x 1 ¾” is mortised and tenoned into the front legs and the back legs for added strength.
• Foam is 2” high density CAL 117 foam on the seat and ½” on the inside and outside back.
• Also available in counter height.
