Specifications

• Chair and Stool frame shall be constructed from solid kiln dried hardwood. Lumber to be dried to a final moisture content between 6%-8%.
• CHAIRS: Front Legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1¾” x 1 7/8” tapering to 1”x1” at bottom. Rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions are 1¾”x 2¼” and tapers to the bottom.
• STOOLS: Front legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1 ½” x 1 ½” tapering to 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” at bottom. Rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions are 1 ½” x 2” and tapers to 1 ¼” x 1 ½” at bottom.
• The seat rails are made from single stock lumber 2”x3” and shaped to conform to the chair design and are glued dowelled and screwed together with corner blocks.
• The seat shall be ¾” thick solid core plywood and applied to the solid hardwood frame. The seat is attached and screwed to the hardwood frame.
• The curved back and arms are a single piece formed plywood screwed into the seat frame.
• Veneer backs can be stained in any standard ISA wood finish. A low-gloss clear coat is applied for added finish durability.
• Stretchers (1”x1”) are attached via mortise and tenon into the front and rear legs for added strength. On the stools, a 1” x 1 ¾” front stretcher is added, covered in a metal footrest available in Black, Brass or Satin aluminum finish.
• Foam is 2” high density CAL 117 foam on the seat and ½” on the inside and outside backs. The back and seat upholstery is a single pull over sleeve.
• The stools are also available in Counter height (24” seat height).
