Wood Seat

Specifications

• Chair frame shall be constructed from solid kiln dried beech wood. Lumber to be dried to a final moisture content between 6% -8%.
• Front Legs to be constructed from single stock lumber. Finished dimension at the top of leg to be 1 ½” x 1 ½” tapering to 1” x 1” at bottom.
• Rear legs to be constructed from single stock lumber cut to shape. Finished dimensions are 1” x 2” (tapering at top and bottom).
• The seat shall be 3/8” thick solid core beech wood ply and applied to the solid beech wood frame. The seat is attached to the beech wood frame and laminated with glue via cold press with no less than 200 lbs. of even pressure for application.
• Back to be constructed from a flat beech wood ply, front and back, applied to the solid wood frame. The back is attached to the wood frame and laminated with glue via cold press at no less that 200 lbs. of even pressure for application.
• Front & side seat rails are to be 1 ¾” x 1 ¾ ” finished dimension. Side and front rails attach to the front legs by a unique dowel and metal bracket connection. Side and back rails connect to the back legs by mortise and tenon. Side stretchers are 1” x 7/8” and fit into the front and back legs via mortise and tenon.
• Front stretchers include a metal footrest finished in Black, Brass or Satin Aluminum.
• Frames are finished in any standard ISA wood finish and receive a low-gloss clear coat for added durability.
• Frames included nail-in nylon glides suitable for all flooring types.
• Chair and Stool are also available with an Upholstered Seat Pad.
• The stool is also available in Counter stool (24” seat height).
